The mattress features a white cover with silver fiber weave technology designed to pull heat away from the body and maintain freshness. Construction includes layers of gel-infused foam with air pockets for temperature regulation, resting atop individually pocketed coils that provide pressure point relief and motion isolation. The manufacturer describes it as having a medium firmness rating, though some reviewers report it feels significantly firmer. Care instructions specify dry cleaning only. The mattress comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty and is made in the USA. It is designed for adult use and fits standard platform beds.

Design & Build

The Westin Heavenly Bed features a 13.25-inch profile with a white exterior and clean hotel aesthetic. The cover incorporates silver fiber weave technology that serves dual purposes: pulling heat away from the body for cooling and providing natural freshness protection. Beneath the cover, the mattress employs a multi-layer construction. The top section consists of gel-infused foam layers designed with air pockets to promote airflow and temperature regulation. These foam layers create a plush sleeping surface intended to provide initial comfort before engaging the support system below.

The core support comes from individually pocketed coils that work independently to contour to the body and isolate motion. This coil system is reinforced to distribute weight evenly and maintain structural integrity over time. The mattress requires no assembly and comes ready to use on most platform beds or with standard box springs. Care is limited to dry cleaning only for the cover. The overall build emphasizes durability with a 10-year warranty backing the construction. Some reviewers note the current version feels firmer than previous Westin hotel mattresses, suggesting potential design changes in the foam layers or coil tension.

Performance

The mattress aims to deliver cooling performance through its silver fiber cover and gel-infused foam layers. The manufacturer claims these materials work together to pull heat away from the body and maintain a comfortable sleep temperature. The pocketed coil system provides pressure relief by contouring to the body's shape while minimizing motion transfer, which can benefit couples. The reinforced coil design offers even weight distribution for consistent support across the sleep surface. Reviewers who expected the soft comfort of previous Westin hotel mattresses report disappointment, with multiple noting the current version feels significantly firmer than expected.

Some users describe the mattress as feeling like a 9 or 10 on the firmness scale rather than the medium rating advertised. These reviewers mention needing to add two mattress toppers to achieve desired comfort levels. The cooling properties receive mixed feedback in reviews, though specific temperature retention data isn't provided. The motion isolation from pocketed coils generally performs well according to the manufacturer's description. Durability appears solid with the 10-year warranty, though long-term performance data is limited given the product's recent availability. The mattress maintains its shape well initially, with no reported sagging in early use.
