It targets users needing a firm, supportive sleep surface with cooling properties and easy maintenance. The mattress combines a 1-inch layer of gel-infused memory foam for pressure relief and contouring comfort atop a high-density foam base that ensures durability and consistent support. Key features include a removable and machine-washable organic cotton cover, CertiPUR-US certification for safety and low emissions, and made-in-USA construction. This product is ideal for those seeking a tailored fit in non-standard dimensions, offering a balance of comfort and practicality for mobile or space-constrained environments.
Product Overview
This mattress measures 24 inches in width by 72 inches in length with a 6-inch thickness, making it suitable for narrow beds in RVs, boats, or custom furniture. It is constructed with a gel memory foam comfort layer that aims to dissipate heat and conform to body shapes, paired with a firm high-density foam base for foundational support. The cover is made from organic cotton, designed to be water-resistant and easily removable via a zipper for machine washing, enhancing hygiene and longevity. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, indicating it is free from harmful chemicals like ozone depleters, heavy metals, and phthalates, with low VOC emissions for better indoor air quality. While the standard size is 24x72 inches, the manufacturer offers custom sizing options upon request, allowing for tailored solutions in unique spaces. Care involves simple machine washing of the cover, and the lightweight design at approximately 1 pound facilitates handling and installation. The mattress is intended for adult use and emphasizes durability through its layered foam construction, though specific weight capacities or firmness ratings beyond 'firm' are not detailed in the provided data.

Design & Build
The Foamma mattress features a straightforward two-layer construction with a 1-inch gel memory foam top and a 5-inch high-density foam base, totaling 6 inches in thickness. The gel memory foam is designed to offer cooling by dispersing heat and conforming to the body, while the firm base provides essential support to prevent sinking. Materials include CertiPUR-US certified foam, ensuring safety with low chemical emissions, and an organic cotton cover that is water-resistant and removable via a zipper. The cover enhances durability and allows for easy cleaning, as it can be machine washed, making maintenance simple for users in RVs or other compact living spaces. Aesthetics are minimal, with a focus on functionality, and the lightweight build at around 1 pound aids in portability and setup, though specific details on edge support or reinforced seams are not provided in the input data.
Build quality emphasizes made-in-USA production, which may imply stricter manufacturing standards. The mattress is designed for firmness, as indicated in the table, targeting users who need robust support without excessive softness. The zippered cover mechanism facilitates removal without damaging the foam, and the water-resistant property helps protect against spills in mobile environments. Cleaning is straightforward with machine-wash instructions, and the foam layers are likely bonded to prevent shifting. However, without review data, long-term durability claims like resistance to sagging or wear are based solely on manufacturer descriptions. The design prioritizes practicality for custom and RV use, with dimensions of 24x72 inches fitting narrow beds, and options for custom sizing add versatility for unique installations.
Performance
Performance aspects focus on comfort and support, with the gel memory foam layer aiming to reduce pressure points and provide a cooling effect, though specific temperature retention metrics are not detailed. The firm high-density base is intended to maintain shape and offer consistent support throughout the night, potentially benefiting back sleepers or those needing extra spinal alignment. In terms of insulation or thermal regulation, the gel infusion may help dissipate heat, but without user reviews, real-world cooling effectiveness is uncertain. The mattress is described as water-resistant with the cover, which could help manage minor spills, but its leak-proof capabilities are not explicitly tested in the provided data. Condensation or sweat management might be aided by the breathable cotton cover, though performance in humid conditions is not specified.
Durability and resilience are inferred from the high-density foam construction, which may resist sagging and provide long-term firmness. The lightweight design at 1 pound suggests ease of handling, but it might not indicate robustness against heavy wear. There are no user reports on drop or dent resilience, so performance in mobile settings like RVs relies on manufacturer claims. Trade-offs include the firm feel, which might be too hard for some sleepers, and the non-standard size limiting use in traditional beds. The mattress fits narrow spaces well, but cup-holder or compatibility considerations are not applicable here. Overall, performance is geared towards practical support in compact environments, with cooling and washability as key benefits, though experiential data is lacking due to zero reviews.
