CH CHARME HOUSE Folding Mattress, 4 inch Trifold Mattress Topper with Review
The CH CHARME HOUSE Folding Mattress is a portable, space-saving sleeping solution designed for temporary use. This 4-inch thick trifold mattress combines a 1.5-inch gel memory foam layer with a 2.5-inch support base foam to provide balanced comfort and support. It targets users needing extra sleeping surfaces for guests, camping trips, RV living, or small-space accommodations. The mattress folds into three compact sections for easy storage and transport, coming with a dedicated storage bag. With its removable cover and CertiPUR-US certified foam, it offers a practical alternative to bulky air mattresses or permanent guest beds. Reviewers appreciate its convenience and comfort level for short-term use.
Product Overview
This folding mattress measures 75 inches long by 25 inches wide by 4 inches thick, categorized as a Small Single size. The dimensions are notably narrower than a standard twin mattress, which some reviewers found confusing despite marketing materials. The construction features two foam layers: a top layer of 1.5-inch gel-infused memory foam for pressure relief and contouring, and a 2.5-inch support base foam for stability and weight distribution. The cover uses breathable Jacquard fabric with woven ventilation channels to promote airflow and temperature regulation. It is removable for cleaning, though some users report it may only be spot cleanable rather than fully machine washable. The mattress arrives vacuum-sealed and requires several hours to fully expand after unpacking. Once expanded, it cannot be compressed back to its original packaging size, making returns challenging. The included storage bag with carrying handle facilitates portability and compact storage when not in use. The mattress weighs 13 pounds, making it relatively lightweight for transport. Available in white with a tight-top style, it suits adult users seeking a temporary sleeping surface.

Design & Build
The CH CHARME HOUSE Folding Mattress features a straightforward trifold design that divides the 75-inch length into three approximately 25-inch square sections. This folding mechanism allows the mattress to compact to roughly one-third of its full size for storage. The construction utilizes two distinct foam layers: a 1.5-inch gel memory foam top layer and a 2.5-inch support base foam. The gel memory foam is designed to conform to body contours, providing pressure relief, while the support foam offers stability and prevents excessive sinking. The cover is made from breathable Jacquard fabric with textured patterns that create ventilation channels, promoting airflow to reduce heat buildup. A non-slip bottom surface helps keep the mattress in place on various floor types. The removable cover attaches with a zipper, though some reviewers note cleaning limitations. The mattress weighs 13 pounds, making it manageable for most adults to carry when folded. The included storage bag features a durable handle for transport convenience. Aesthetics are minimal with a white color scheme and tight-top styling that presents a clean appearance suitable for various environments.
Performance
Reviewers report the mattress provides adequate comfort for temporary sleeping situations. The dual-layer foam construction offers a medium firm feel that balances softness with support. Users weighing around 180 pounds find it comfortable for floor sleeping, with the memory foam layer contouring to body shape. The support base helps distribute weight evenly, reducing pressure points. Some reviewers note the mattress may feel too soft for back support over extended periods, with one mentioning it sinks in during sleep. The narrow 25-inch width accommodates average-sized adults but may feel constricting for those accustomed to standard mattress widths. Temperature regulation benefits from the breathable cover, with users reporting minimal overheating during use. The non-slip bottom performs well on hardwood, tile, and carpeted surfaces, preventing unwanted movement. Portability is a standout feature, with the folded mattress fitting easily in car trunks, closets, and storage areas. The storage bag protects the mattress during transport and storage. Durability appears sufficient for occasional use, though long-term performance remains untested by most reviewers. The folding mechanism maintains integrity through multiple setup and storage cycles.
